The Schlagkraft Zivkovic Marimba Mallet NJZ-3 is ideal for a strong attack in the low register, but without distracting overtones. Its head (core) is lighter than at NJZ-1 & 2s, so mallet has excellent rebound and feel, especially keeping in mind that independent (Stevens) grip players hold it with two fingers left hand.

The Zivkovich Series Mallets feature rubber cores wrapped in layers of a synthetic yarn. Schlagkraft hand selects and matches the rattan shafts to create a balanced even pair.
