Very sturdy holder. Excellent grip, and attaches quickly. Requires a clamp that will accommodate a 5/8" shaft.

The trick with this is that the STAND IS NOT INCLUDED! This is just for the holder! You can use the holder with any clamp, or the stand (sold separately -- note its advertised as Schlagwerk, but the stand is by Sonor and is of superior quality). This mount uses a 1/2" diameter post that is short, as you can see if you look carefully at the picture. I used this to mount my large 22" Cooperman frame drum to a Gibraltar rack, and its totally solid and will not damage your drums. It even has a quick release mechanism. If you are looking to mount a frame drum to any kit, rig, stand, rack, etc, then this is your baby.
