Houllif-School of Hard Knocks (SP)-3 bodies

School of Hard Knocks by Murray Houllif for body percussion trio. Body percussion ensembles will love the programmatic nature of this imaginative piece. It will remind players and listeners of a day at school - knuckled rapping on wood (desk), hand claps, tummy pats, and foot taps and stomps - together and in imitation (mimicry). It begins in a march-like 4/4 and ends in a skipping (home from school) 6/8. Two copies of each are provided for ensembles with 3 to 6 (or more in multiples of three) players.
