Pascal Schumacher's The Great Danton on Capri Island is an advanced mallet duo for one player on vibraphone and one player on glockenspiel and marimba. After a brief intro section for vibes and glockenspiel, the vibraphone sets up a agroove while the second player switches to marimba. After a rhythmic middle section, the marimbist switches back to glockenspiel and the pieces concludes with some of the material from the beginning.
