About his Windfall Concerto, Paschal Schumacher says the following:
"There are 100,000 ways you can compose a concerto. I have started out with various musical settingsthat would have turned out completely differently if I would have continued to work on them. Lastly, I have spent a lot of time experimenting until it was clear to me which tone, which voicing was the one I wanted to give to the whole. For me, the title "Windfall" is an appropriate synonym for the serendipity of realizing such a concerto."
