Siterre-Plein Peau-SD

Plein Peau by Christian Siterre is a technically demanding, 2'15" long snare drum solo. Although it comprises a single movement, it is in three parts: first, a dotted sixteenth-32nd note theme is stated (with 32nd note interjections between phrases), then after a metric modulation there is a brief, smoother middle section. The third section features the return of the jumpy opening material mixed with some of the middle section rhythyms and the work concludes with a restatement of the interjection motive from the first section.
