Sponsel-Messages from Outer Space-SD

In his composition Messages From Outer Space, Joaquim Sponsel, who was, among other things, the solo timpanist of the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra and drummer of the band of Josephine Baker, uses interesting sound effects obtainable from the snare drum such as hitting the edge, the hoop, etc. Even the body's own instruments such as the foot are used.
