Hydra is chamber ensemble piece by Norwegian composer Jostein Stalheim (b. 1960), who began composing at an early age and had works performed on Norwegian radio and television by age 17. Hydra was among the larger works performed during his student years at the Norwegian State Academy of Music and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Copenhagen.
