Description

Exclusively for two mallet marimba, Gordon Stout's Etudes for Marimba, Book 3 is full of moderately difficult to difficult pieces, including the popular Basically Broke Blues.

"These etudes came as a result of my rediscovering two mallet playing. I had been so consumed with writing for four mallet marimba that I almost forgot about playing with two mallets. So these pieces provided me with a way to return to my roots as a player."
-Gordon Stout
