Description
Written in 1979, these two etudes are dedicated to Clair Omar Musser as homage to his enduring legacy which helped establish the marimba as a legitimate concert instrument. Harmonically, the etudes follow progression derived from Musser's published etudes and preludes. However, they incorporate new sticking and technical challenges in the four mallet vocabulary.
