In this piece the main themes from Concerto for Marimba No. 2 are used in a way to make it possible to get the musical essence of the concerto performed just for solo marimba without the orchestra accompaniment. The same energy, lyricism and musicality of the concerto are well expressed in this 7 minute solo piece that is a great addition for the marimba repertory. Scored for 5-octave marimba.
