Gronemeier-Sweet Roselle

Sweet Roselle by Dean Gronemeier is a three movement marimba solo depicting memories of the composer's home town of Roselle, IL. The first movement has a professional ragtime/honky-tonk feel. The second movement was written for the composer's mother, and the third is based on a 12-tone scale to represent the changes in Roselle since the composer left. This four mallet solo is scored for 4.5 octave marimba (low F).
