Great piece of music to study and perform. Each movement is relatively short, and none of them drag on. Really fun to play, and interesting for audiences as well.
Description
Inspirations Diabolique by Rickey (Rick) Tagawa is a mulit-percussion solo of medium-advanced difficulty. The piece is broken up into 5 movements - Introduction, Dance, Adagio - Tarantella, Cadenza, and Perpetual Motion. This is a very popular piece for senior recitals and juries because of its varied use of instruments and implements - Triangle beaters, wound mallets, snare drum sticks, and brushes.
