Pros: it's the only thing I've found that does what it does. It's perfect for holding a cymbal down onto my piccolo snare for that electronic "clap" effect, without needing to hold the cymbal down with my stick so it doesn't fly off. Easy to adjust. Compact and easy to transport. Makes it quick to swing the cymbal off of the drum when not needed, and replace it when it is. Cons: with repeated hits, the top key bolt loosens up; you either need to coat the threads with something, or keep re-tightening it periodically. You have to buy the suggested hoop clamp (or another of your choosing) to use it. Overall I'm very happy with this arm; it does what it says it does, and I didn't have to MacGyver something together.
