Tama Starphonic Copper Snare Drum - 14x7

The Tama Starphonic Copper Snare Drum features a 1.2 mm copper shell with a 7" depth. This allows for a dark tone, tight low end while accented with crisp articulate sticking. The Starphonic claw hooks have a rubber block inside to prevent the tension rods from loosening during playing. The Starphonic Strainer incorporates a ratchet system adjustment mechanism. It achieves high-pressure tension, even with extreme settings while allowing micro-adjustments. The freedom claw hook and lug quick release system offers simple, speedy replacement of drum heads without having to take all of the tension rods out of the lugs. Loosening of the tension rods allows you to tilt the claw hooks backwards and away from the Grooved Hoop.
