Tama Starphonic Maple Snare Drum - 14x6

The Tama Starphonic Maple Snare Drum delivers a crisp, resonate and open sound reminiscent of vintage snare drums. One of the contributing factors to this sound is the use of Tama's Grooved Hoop. This is a vintage design combined with modern materials. The shape of the bearing edge combined with the Hi-Carbon Snare wires create the deep but crisp sound.

• Shell – 14x6 6ply (6mm) Maple with a decorative outer ply of mappa burl
• Lugs – Freedom Lugs feature a quick release claw hook. This allows head changes without having to take the tension rods out of the lugs.
• Linear Drive Strainer with Ratchet Style Tension Adjuster – This snare system allows for even tension distribution on the snare wires as well as micro tension adjustments.
