Tanabe-Concertino (SP)-Solo M/B/V/X/P

An exciting work by an outstanding Japanese composer, Concertino for Solo Marimba and Two Percussionists displays the talents of the solo marimbist in a small ensemble setting. The percussion parts are interesting and challenging, yet have practical, not-too-large set-up. In this edition, a separate part is provided for the percussionists, making page turns possible.

Tsuneya Tanabe was born on July 6th 1935, in Inchon Korea. He studied at the Tokyo Universtiy of Fine Arts and Music with Yoshi Hasegawa and Yoshio Ikuma.
