Tantchev-Timpani Exercises vol. I

George Tantchev felt that there was a need for a study in timpani which addresses both technical and musical aspects of performing. The result is a set of three books which contain exercises that resemble actual timpani parts from the music literature and are intended to develop technique, musicality, intonation, phrasing, and interpretation. Volume I of the series contains 20 exercises for two drums.
