Tantchev-Timpani Exercises vol. II

George Tantchev felt that there was a need for a study in timpani which addresses both technical and musical aspects of performing. The result is a set of three books which contain exercises that resemble actual timpani parts from the music literature and are intended to develop technique, musicality, intonation, phrasing, and interpretation. Volume II of the series contains 5 exercises for two drums and 10 exercises for three drums.
