Tantchev-Timpani Exercises vol. III

Dr. George Tantchev felt that there was a need for a study in timpani which addresses both technical and musical aspects of performing. The result is a set of three books which contain exercises that resemble actual timpani parts from the music literature and are intended to develop technique, musicality, intonation, phrasing, and interpretation. Volume III of the series contains 10 exercises and a set of four melodies for four drums.
