Tao Shu by Michael Hunt for percussion trio. Tao Shu is a Chinese term for the essence of Tao, or the axis of Tao at the center of which all infinities converge and all distinctions disappear. Although the events on each page of this piece are relative to each other, each page does not stand for a specific length of time. Scored for two vibraphones, glockenspiel, crotales (F and G), marimba, castanets, maracas, bass drum, glass wind chime, metal wind chime, three triangles, brass bell tree, sleigh bells, camel bells.
