Composed in 1886, the tremolo study Recuerdos de la Alhambra is without doubt Francisco Tarrega's best-known piece. This wonderful arrangement for marimbas by Steven Mathiesen evokes memories of the Moorish citadel located on a hill in the Spanish Granada. An enchanting gem with a slightly melancholy tinge.
