Market Day by Saverio Tasca was the third place winner in the 2004 PAS composition contest! Starting with a slow and relaxed introduction that makes use of bowed notes as well as a melody played with mallets, the piece quickly moves into a very rhythmic groove. For the intermediate/advanced performer this will be an accessible piece that would be very audience friendly! Duration: ca. 7'15".
