Temkin-Wanderings (SP)-B/V/M/Cro./P

Written as a pedagogical work, Wanderings is a quirky percussion quartet intended for young musicians. Its musical language is not overly-sophisticated, making the work comprehensible for developing students; in addition, its performance demands are intentionally scaled back by comparison to more advanced literature, in order to accomodate players who are not fully developed in their technical facility.

Instrumentation - Glockenspiel, Concert toms, graduated metal pipes, suspended cymbal (3), china cymbal, chimes, crotales, bass drum, triangle (mounted), tam-tam, vibraphone, congas, snard drum, marimba (5.0 octave)
