Nishimura-Sky is the Limit (SP)-V/M

The Sky is the Limit is a two movement duet by Yukiko Nishimura written for vibraphone and 5-octave marimba. The first movement, "Moonshade," begins with a rubato introduction and moves into a more rhythmically structured eighth note section with the marimba playing the accompaniment. The vibraphone melody appears as if floating in the atmosphere. The second movement, "Earthlight," begins slowly and then changes to a fast and lively. This music expresses the changes of the phases of the planet. Duration: 9'20"
