Russell-Three Dance Movements (3S)-P/PN

Three Dance Movements by William Russell is a piece written for three percussionists and piano. This piece requires unique performance practices such as breaking glass and playing the piano with a 2x4. This audience friendly piece is an excellent way to add some variety to your next concert.

Instrumentation:

Player 1 - small triangle, large triangle, small dinner bell, glass bottle, steel bar or anvil.

Player 2 - finger cymbal, suspended Turkish cymbal, suspended Chinese cymbal, two hand cymbals, tom tom.

Player 3 - small woodblock, large woodblock, snare drum, tom tom, bass drum.

Player 4 - piano.
