To Those Who Are Brave by Phillip Mikula for percussion ensemble. This 12 player work is at times subtle and reflect but also rhythmically vibrant and driving. The composer explains that this piece is dedicated to those around us in everyday life who go beyond what is just required of them and instead aspire to greater endeavors. This challenging yet accessible work features active parts for all players.
