Faces by Tobias Brostrom consists of seven fairly short movements, each one with its own character. This concerto for marimba/vibraphone presents a style in which the soloist's role is not traditional, as in the classical style concerto. Duration: 23 min. approx.

Swedish composer Tobias Broström ( b. 1978 ) had four years of percussion studies from the Malmö Academy of Music behind him when he embarked on a course of studies in composition for Rolf Martinsson and subsequently the Italian composer prof. Luca Francesconi. In 2003 he became teacher of arrangement/composition and music theory at Sundsgården Folk High School.
