Toca Jamal Series Gome Drum

A Gome Drum features a skin head mounted on a square resonate shell. These instruments have their roots in the Ga and Ashanti communities of west Africa featured in both solo and ensemble performances. The Toca Jamal Series Gome Drum offers thick warm tones, striking slaps, and resonant bass. Toca also innovated this instrument with an on the fly tuning system. By simply turning the handle, drummers can unlock a wide range of sounds not typically achievable, all completed in mere seconds.
