Description
The Toca Sully Erna Black Mamba 12" Wood Rope Tuned Djembe is the latest collaboration between Toca and Sully Erna, the founder and frontman of the band Godsmack. This traditionally built wood djembe sounds as nice as it looks. The 12" version delivers the full range of what a well-made wood djembe can do, with warm, resonant bass tones, clear open tones, and crisp, cutting slaps.
The shell is hand-carved from a single piece of plantation-grown mahogany, kiln-dried and finished with twenty coats of teak oil for long-term durability and protection. The hand-selected black-dyed goatskin head is stamped with Sully Erna's personal logo in white ink, and the Godsmack "Star" logo is carved into the base of the drum. A nylon bag and head cover are included.
