Description
Two Mayan Dances by Kai Stensgaard is a six mallet solo scored for 5 octave marimba. The two dances in this piece are Lain Mebaj and Manzanilla. This piece was inspired by the composer's travels to Mexico and Guatemala to study the roots of the mairimba.
