Urgiles-Cosmos-V

"Cosmos" was inspired by the book Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson. The sound of bowed vibraphone that opens the piece feels to me like what empty space might sound like if it had a sound. However, this piece is not meant to emulate the sound of outer space, but rather it depicts a musical narrative that embodies the emotions I felt on the universe, time, and life itself at the time of reading the book.
