Koors-Variants of Seven (SP)-3M

Variants of Seven by Zachary Koors for marimba trio. Scored for two 4.3-octave marimbas and one 4.5-octave marimba. This contemporary trio begins in 7/8 with a minimalist rhythmic style and develops nicely through a 4/4 section. This piece was chosen for the 2014 Mallet Reading Session at PASIC in 2014 by Gordon Stout.
