Description

The Vater Jay Weinberg 908 Signature Drumsticks is in between a 5A and 5B for a comfortable grip. The 908 feature an additional 1/4" length for some added reach. The quick taper for adds a slight forward throw but with a fast response. The medium sized barrel tip delivers a defined ride cymbal tone without lacking volume to cut through while putting out full drum tones. All these elements make the 908 a great stick for playing at both medium to high tempos with fast fills and for also more straight ahead rock, groove playing.

Just ordered several pairs of these from Steve Weiss and these are excellent sticks! I think that Vater and Jay Weinberg have a winner with these. Very comfortable sticks, and they sound great on the cymbals and the drums. I have tried so many sticks from Steve Weiss (they have the best service and selection) I think I am going to continue to use these for sure. Still looking at other sticks, but I think you could use these for any music genre and be happy. I will certainly be purchasing more from Steve Weiss. Top notch service as always too.
