These may be a little expensive for what they are (which is why they are 4 instead of 5 stars). They are very comparable to the zildjian brand earplugs. These plugs do a good job of bringing the volume down without muffling the sound too much. You can still clearly hear most highs and lows and understand people talking to you with them in. I purchased these for my wife to take to a KMFDM concert. She really liked these plugs. I've found that using dawn dish soap and hot water you can clean these and reuse plugs like these for a couple years before replacing them.
