A great rock drumstick. the solid barrel tip sound seems durable and sounds good on the cymbals. Great stick for the hard hitting rock drummer but also light enough for finesse.

low-pitched sticks

I ordered 10 pairs of Vic Firth American Classic 55A sticks and received them in a very timely manner. However, every pair was low-pitched, though still useable. Usually when I order many pairs, I get a variety and I grade them according to pitch (the higher the pitch, the better the rebound). But this time, they were all low-pitched which is unfortunate since I really enjoy this particular type of Vic Firth stick. I'm hoping this was a fluke. Otherwise, I will have to order my sticks elsewhere.

My husband is a drummer and these are his favorite sticks to use. They are sold out at most musician stores but I am glad we found a staple sight to purchase them from.
