Like this stick a lot! Nicely weighted and balanced, and I've been playing sticks with the extra length for a long time now.

too long of a stick

I can see a practical application for these if you played in an arena rock band and had to hit cymbals on a 5 foot high stand. But for me it was not the right stick the tips were barrel like which was okay, my biggest problem with this stick is the Balance point. to have the optimal balance of the stick you have to have 2 to 3 inches sticking out from the back of the hand, making it impossible to play with any type of long sleeve shirt. If you like the barrel tip go with the regular 55A much better balance point.

The extended version is perfect!! Highly recommended! My wife always purchases this model for me.
