The SD4 Combo is the model I reach for most often. This stick is comfortable, and easy to control. Most of my drum set playing is in lower volume situations, and the Combo model works beautifully in those settings.
I have been searching for the perfect stick for MY playing style. I must have bought dozens of sticks from just about all the major manufacturers to try. I like this stick. It has a diameter slightly less than a standard 5A, is just under 16 inches in length, has a reasonably sized barrel tip and is light weight due to it being maple. I wanted a stick that I could dynamically control on whatever gig I was playing. I don't want to be changing sticks all the time. This one works for me.
