Great jazz sticks for people whp hate 7As

Was looking for a stick for jazz that was a lighter stick but not as light as a 7A. I can't stand using 7As. It's like trying to play with marimba mallet handles for me. This stick is a 5A diameter with a 7A tip and long tapered shoulder. Lots of rebound.

I haven't gotten around to using too many different kinds of sticks, but between the classic 5A's, the Dave Weckl Evolutions, and the AJ2's, the AJ2's win. I use these sticks for jazz, latin, rock, funk... just about everything. I love a light stick and this one has great response, especially on the ride and hi-hat.

This is a great combo stick, usable for soft rock, latin, and has a light enough feel for jazz without overpowering the rest of the group. Overall great stick for the all-around drummer.
