Description

The Vic Firth Bluetooth Isolation Headphones combine external noise reduction with wireless audio streaming. Designed for practice, live performance, and studio monitoring, these headphones lower ambient sound levels by 20 decibels. This allows you to listen to backing tracks or metronomes at lower, safer volume levels without sacrificing audio clarity.

Wireless Connectivity and Battery Performance

Equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 technology, these headphones offer low-latency wireless connection to mobile devices, audio interfaces, and electronic instruments. The built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 20 hours of continuous use on a single charge. For situations where wireless connectivity is not available, an included 3.5mm audio cable allows for standard wired operation.

Driver Specifications and Noise Reduction

These headphones feature 50mm dynamic Mylarcon speakers capable of delivering a 20Hz - 20kHz frequency response with balanced low, mid, and high frequencies. The broad ear cushions and padded headband provide physical passive isolation, deadening ambient room sound. The ear cups fit over the ear completely to maintain sound separation during high-volume environments.

This is a great pair of phones for practicing on drumset. I can hit hard and sound good while playing the music at midpoint. As far as customer service it’s quick shipping, great price and a good and sturdy product. Richard Mayer

After all of the waiting

I (and many others) have been wanting this product for a VERY long time. And frankly, there is no good reason it should take this long to finally achieve it. Well, the wait continues. Because although they finally came out with "a" bluetooth isolation kit, it is far from an "achievement". The disappointment begins right away as it does not come with a full charging kit. There is a ridiculous little 6 inch cord, but no power block. I know most people do already have one, but it is lazy and assuming that there is nobody who will ever need one. If the product requires something, it should be provided. ESPECIALLY for the high cost of this product. Second, for any company in 2022 to choose mini or micro USB over the universal USB type-C connection is the height of short sightedness. 99% of all mobile and tablet devices use the C-Type. In 2010, Maybe. In 2022? Unacceptable. Finally, and most egregiously, the product is a failure. When I first bought them in April, I thought they sounded pretty decent. Not great, but a good overall headphone sound. Bass is acceptable, but a little high on the upper. You can overcome this if your music device has it's own equalizer, but it is cumbersome. But once I got the levels where I wanted, it was pretty good. It does have a lot of volume, but it distorts once it gets beyond 50% capacity, so the high volume is not very useful. After I got them, I didn't end up using them much mostly because of the pace of life. With a toddler in the house and as a school teacher/drum teacher,I didn't have any time to drum until this week when we went on break. I was SO excited to FINALLY get these things on and play. As always, I start with a warm up, not with music. But as I threw the cans on my ears, I noticed that the volume of the kit was insanely loud. The headphones did almost nothing to reduce the noise. I immediately threw on my old wired pair of VF isolation phones, and they were as always PERFECT when it comes to noise reduction. I switched back and forth and both with and without music, the Red bluetooth pair was just absolutely awful. I truly wish I had play-tested these out of the box. It's now been a couple of months since purchasing, but well past the return time. I am now stuck with a giant pair of bright red headphones (Another ridiculous idea... seriously, who thought of this?) that can't even function as basic hearing protection. And I am not being sarcastic. The little foam ear plugs from home depot that you get 50 pair for $5 are FAR better hearing protection than this. This product is a waste of money. Unless you have a real itch to waste $100 bucks, DO NOT buy this product. I truly hope someone else takes up the mantle of providing drummers a quality bluetooth isolation head set because these are an awful joke.
