Dual-Timbre Articulation

The John Mapes 2 tenor stick is engineered to deliver two distinct tonal profiles, allowing performers to execute rapid timbre changes with a simple flip of the stick:

• Black Nylon Disc Tip: Returning from the original SMAPTS design, this oversized nylon tip pulls a massive, clear, and highly articulate sound out of the drums.
• Copper Rubber Cap: The butt-end features an all-new copper-colored rubber cap, providing a softer, warmer tone for dynamic contrast and specialized musical passages.
