Keith Carlock Sticks - Great Feel and Articulation

I have been using the Steve Gadd sticks and wanted to try the Ketih Carlock sticks. These are amazing sticks. The feel of these sticks provides a nice balance and as Vic Firth notes, these made playing doubles and singles effortless. The compressed tear drop provides a nice clean articulate sound from the drums and the cymbals. The tip might be the weakest part of these sticks, but so far, I have not had any issues. The coating on these sticks also provides a great grip as well. I am still using my Steve Gadd sticks but I do trade off and use the Ketih Carlock sticks as well. As always, Steve Weiss is top notch in service and selection.

Its like they're lacquered so they don't generate wood dust that otherwise gets on to shoes/floor.

Great all-around stick. I am currently using the Steve Gadd sticks (which I use for everything) and picked up a few pair of the Keith Carlock's to try out. These are super comfortable sticks and the long taper coupled with the compressed tear drop sounds awesome on the cymbals and the drumheads. I also like the heavy lacquer coating on these sticks too. You can get some great rebound out of these sticks and volume but always maintain control. I will be using these sticks with the Gadd sticks as well. As always, you can't beat Steve Weiss for superior service and selection.

Excellent sticks. I am currently using the Steve Gadd sticks (which I love) and decided to try these since they were back in stock. The longer taper on these combined with the teardrop tip provide great sound and articulation on the cymbals as well as the drumheads. The glazed coating on these sticks is super comfortable too. A very easy and comfortable stick to use! I am not sure how long the tips will last, but I think that you could use these sticks for just about anything except heavier playing. I am still going to use my Steve Gadd sticks but, will use these as well. Thanks to Steve Weiss as always for the best selection and the speedy shipping!

I love these sticks. They have enough weight to provide a nice level of control when using them, but yet the small tips allow for a very light sound when needed. These make an especially nice set of sticks for playing jazz.
