These are honestly the most mediocre marimba mallets I've ever used. I got them in a Vic Firth educational pack when I was first starting out and I replaced them as soon as I had the money. More recently I tried to use them playing White Knuckle Stroll since they're lighter than my usual selection of IP275's. One of them snapped about 15 measures into the piece and that was the end of that.
