Amazing Mallets, the sound I was looking for, not too hard and not too soft, just in the middle to play solo and to play with a band. The shipping was great too.

Almost everyone at my college has these, and for good reason. The tone is great, and they feel really good in the hands. Even though they are the softest in the line, you don't lose the attack of each note. Even when playing busier parts, all the notes are really clear. These are really good for vibe solos or lighter duets. I would recommend going to the green mallets if your doing a lot of ensemble playing to give that extra attack to the sound.
