Vic Firth Robert Van Sice Marimba Mallets - Medium (2 Pack)

The Vic Firth Robert Van Sice M114 Medium Marimba Mallet 2-Pair Pack provides a complete set of four matching mallets for four-mallet marimba performance. Designed in collaboration with renowned marimba soloist and educator Robert Van Sice, the M114 is the popular medium model in the series, offering a versatile sound that works across the entire range of the marimba.

Each M114 features a rubber core wrapped in charcoal grey yarn using a specialized hand-wrapping technique designed to minimize the sound of mallet contact with the bar. The medium hardness produces a full, singing tone with excellent clarity, making these mallets well suited for solo, chamber, and ensemble repertoire. A 17" maple handle provides a comfortable feel and added control when playing at wider intervals. With two pairs included, this pack provides four matching M114 mallets ready for traditional four-mallet marimba playing.

• Medium rubber core provides a versatile, consistent response
