Full sound quality out of these sticks. With a great weight and articulation, I highly recommend this pair for many various styles of drum set playing. A small comment to one of the previous reviews that rated this stick poorly.......almost no pairs will sound the same. If you mix and match at a store or with the 12 pairs purchased, you can find very close matches in pitch.
Another great product from Vic Firth. A bit shorter than what I've used in the past. Great weight, balance and acorn tip. I was pleasantly surprised, but why should I be. Vic Firth produces only the finest sticks in the business. I highly recommend trying a pair. Mark Dalzell Las Vegas, NV

I bought 12 pairs of jojo mayer sticks and i kid you not they are different in weight. I was so upset because I really thought every pair would be the same.
