Yes, it's pricey. But if you play more than the occasional march on BD, it's worth it. This stick is HEAVY, and that's its beauty. Brings out round, fat sounds without excessive attack, and does it effortlessly.

My favorite Gauger mallet; this is my go to mallet all the time. It gives a good attack and such a warm sound.
