Volans-Abhaya (SP)

This work was commissioned by Hamiruge, the Louisiana State University School of Music's percussion group. Abhaya's first performance took place at the university in 2015.

• Player 1: 2 xylophone bars (high F and G), 4 low tom toms
• Player 2: 2 bongos, 4 tom toms (relatively low)
• Player 3: 2 bongos, large bass drum with foot pedal, 2 low congas, 2 tom toms
• Player 4: High F xylophone bar, 2 low tom toms, 2 bass drums
