Waring-Seven Short Etudes-X

These etudes were composed as audition pieces. Because of this, they were written with a number of limitations and intentions in mind:

They were to be short.
They were intended to demonstrate 2-mallet technique.
They are rich in detail with respect to dynamics and phrasing.
The tonal language is modern (free-tonal or atonal).
They were intended to be challenging, but possible to learn in a short time.
