I knew this thing wouldn't be the greatest, based on the price, but it's really terrible. Even though it looks nice and it made of wood, it's barely better than the cheap party favor toy ones. The octave break is essentially unavoidable and because the whistle is so small, no matter how slow the air is. Spend the extra few bucks and get a real one.
